Home Care Services
Hospice & Home Care of Alexander County, Inc. is licensed not only as a hospice, but as a home care agency, enabling us to provide services to the community apart from the hospice component of care. Home Care assigns In-Home Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants Level I and II to provide care for people of all ages who, due to medical conditions, need assistance with routine daily activities.

Individuals eligible for Home Care Services must have a stable medical condition that requires the direct and ongoing care of the physician ordering the service, and also need help with personal care tasks due to the medical condition. Through a comprehensive assessment and medical history, Hospice & Home Care of Alexander County, Inc. will work with you to develop a plan of care that is personal to your specific needs. In addition to basic medical and personal care needs, Home Care Services may include housekeeping and home management tasks. Home Care Services is designed to assist, not replace, help available.

Licensed by the State of North Carolina, Hospice & Home Care of Alexander County, Inc. provides:
PERSONAL CARE SERVICES • a Medicaid funded program offering assistance with activities of daily living.
IN-HOME AIDE SERVICES • for the Community Alternatives Program (CAP) as authorized by the Alexander County Department of Social Services for adults and children.
RESPITE IN-HOME AIDE SERVICES • for those caring for senior adults not receiving other like services.
PRIVATE DUTY AIDE SERVICES • needed with the option of paying privately for care.
